What is State DECA?
State DECA is the premier event. Each participant competes in a career interest competitive event. Students compete as individuals or teams (see below for details).
Who Attends State DECA?
Students in good standing with Elkhorn DECA are invited to attend State DECA. To be in good standings students are required to participate in 2 volunteer activities and attend district DECA.
How do I sign up for State DECA?
To register for State DECA you must;
Attend informational meeting
Attend District DECA competition, January 26th
Attend Review Sessions
Submit permission form, medical release form and full payment by February 4th
How much does State DECA cost?
Cost $120
Registration and hotel cost covered in registration
Food Cost covered by participant

Students wishing to compete must follow these guidelines when selecting an event;
SMDM – Taken Sports Marketing
BMDM – Taking/Taken Advanced Marketing
BLMDM – Taking/Taken Business Management
TMDM – Taking/Taken Advanced Marketing
ACT – Taking/Taken Accounting
