On September 13, 2007, FCCLA students made starfish-shaped cookies for the teachers on staff in order to thank them for “making a difference”. This related directly to a message the teachers heard earlier this year from the Nebraska Commissioner of Education, Doug Christiansen. |

Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is the co-curricular vocational student organization which has family as its central focus. Students plan and implement service learning activities through participation in FCCLA. Mrs. Pamela Mowinkel is the advisor for this group at Elkhorn High School; Mrs. Pamela Wright is the advisor for Elkhorn South High School.
