Your first job assigned is to see Mrs. Albritton. She will assign you and a co-workers an author that you will represent.
Find books that the author has written and read, read, read. It is VERY important that you know how your author writes, what they write and when they wrote it. Knowing the authors books will help you understand your author! Compare and contrast the books that you read.

Look at the author’s website. Find out information about the author and answer questions such as: *What are the author’s interests? *Where do they come up with their stories? *When did they start writing? *Where does the author live? *find some interesting facts about their books or the author themselves! (don’t forget to take notes!!)

Create a powerpoint to tell others about your author. You will receive your instructions from Mrs. Albritton on what to put in your powerpoint. |

Present the powerpoint to the other agents. |
